
Deacon Jeremey Westmark
Deacon Jeremey Westmark was ordained to the Diaconate in June 2026. He is a cradle Catholic and attended Catholic school in central California from kindergarten through eighth grade. Deacon Jeremey has always been very active in his Catholic faith, serving as an altar boy from 4th through 12th grade, as president of his high school Catholic youth group, Newman Club, and assisting in weekend retreats for high school youth while attending the University of California at Davis. He has taught religious education to elementary, middle, and high schoolers, including those preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation. He also spent 10 years training altar servers in his parish in Las Vegas before moving to Idaho. Currently, Deacon Jeremey leads the Returning Catholics ministry at Holy Apostles and manages the Lector ministry.
Deacon Jeremey and his wife, Deanna, married in 2006 and have three children. In 2012, they moved from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Eagle, Idaho, to raise their children in a family-friendly environment. Their children have attended local Catholic schools, including St. Ignatius, St. Mark’s, and Bishop Kelly High School.
Deacon Jeremey served 8 ½ years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve while attending university and beginning his professional career. He founded an environmental engineering company in 1999 and continues to lead the company to this day. When he is not busy running his company, Deacon Jeremey enjoys spending time with his family camping, skiing, and traveling. Deacon Jeremey also enjoys golfing and spending time near the ocean.
