Data Entry/Registrar
Office: 208-888-1182 x404
Mary Ossenkop is a cradle Catholic born in Burns, Oregon (she's one of 9 kids!). Her family moved to Meridian in 1964 when the population of Meridian was around 2,500. She has been a member of the parish since the beginning (1964) in the little white church across from the Meridian Post Office. Mary and her husband, Larry, have one son. She enjoys traveling with her family, reading, animals, nature and being outdoors. Prior to working for the Church, Mary spent several years as a trip coordinator and licensed guide for Mackay Bar Ranch and Harrah's Middle Fork Lodge coordinating all sorts of outdoor adventures in Idaho's beautiful Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area.
Mary volunteered in, and eventually ran the Religious Ed program for years before "semi-retiring" to her current position of Registrar. She loves welcoming new families to Holy Apostles and getting them involved in the parish through the registration process.
Fun fact about Mary: she really loves horses and used to participate in the sport of cutting with her own cutting horse.
