Please pray for my friend Mark, who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive metastatic cancer. He is experiencing a lot of pain and fatigue. Mark and his wife are cradle Catholics, who left the church 50 years ago and became Protestants. They have spent their lives serving in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and other childrens' ministries. Mark has frequently volunteered in places where there have been natural disasters using his carpentry skills to repair and build homes. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors to decide on treatment and that the treatment will stop the cancer, and relieve Mark's pain.

Please pray for my nephew, Kenny. He has a large abscess on his lower leg. He is supposed to have surgery on Monday to open the veins in his lower legs.if this procedure does not work he is at risk for losing his lower legs. He is an alcoholic and heavy smoker. He needs to quit both addictions but he is not willing to do that. Please pray that he stops smoking and drinking and that he goes through with the surgery.
